Challenge:
Due to lack of resources and time, the hotel was unable appoint an in-house social media manager or snap in-the-moment photos to keep the content fresh and engaging. As a result, their Facebook posts often featured similar photos and/or stock photography.
Solution:
Our social media specialists planned quarterly visits to the hotel to capture lifestyle photography on-property and nearby attractions, launched giveaways to celebrate milestones, created branded videos, launched Facebook advertising and lastly, offered exclusive deals only available to their Facebook users.
Results:
In a short 3-month span, the hotel saw a 322% increase in Facebook engagement with more users commenting, sharing and liking posts. The hotel also saw a spike in page “likes”, reach and impressions.
